We’re thrilled to announce that for the 2026 Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT), we’ll be opening our very own camping site to welcome visitors from near and far. Our campsite will be conveniently located in our spacious bottom paddock, offering a unique and comfortable base just a short distance from all the RIAT action
Our Two Holliday Lodges
At the Cotswold Reindeer Herd, we offer two holiday lodges for a unique accommodation experience. One lodge can accommodate up to four adults, while the other can sleep up to six, making them ideal for families or groups. With the added comfort and the reassurance of being just a short distance from RAF Fairford, these lodges are always in high demand, so be sure to book early to avoid missing out.

How does it work?
If you're planning your visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo and want somewhere relaxed, friendly, and close to the action, our RIAT campsite at the Cotswold Reindeer Herd is the perfect place to stay.
Located in our spacious bottom paddock just a short distance from RAF Fairford, our campsite offers a peaceful base away from the busy crowds, while still keeping you within easy reach of everything RIAT has to offer. You can book your pitch for one to four nights, giving you the flexibility to plan your trip around arrivals, departures, or even Park & View days.
Each grass pitch measures 5m x 8m and includes space for one vehicle at no extra charge. Additional vehicles or extra space can also be arranged if needed. Our simple, no-fuss setup includes access to a water standpipe, portable toilet facilities, and a designated waste area to keep things convenient throughout your stay.
To make your mornings and evenings easier during the show weekend, our onsite café, Mrs Claus’ Tearooms, will be open daily serving breakfast baps, hot drinks, and evening food options throughout RIAT week.
Spaces are limited and demand is always high during RIAT week, so we strongly recommend booking early to secure your pitch and enjoy a stress-free stay just minutes from the showground.
