Aviation Photography Tips, for Budgets Cameras and Lenses Part 1

Updated: 2d

Thinking about buying your first camera before RIAT this year? Or maybe you’ve recently bought one and want to get the most out of it for aircraft photography.

I’ve just uploaded part 1 of my Big Guide to RIAT YouTube channel, where I go through some important things to consider when choosing a camera. I do talk about Nikon in the video because that’s the system I use, but the advice applies to any camera brand.

If you’re heading to RIAT and want to improve your chances of getting some great photos, this series should help you understand what to look for and what actually matters when picking a camera.

This is part 1 of 3. I’ll be filming more this weekend while visiting RAF Lakenheath and the Duxford Museum, so the next parts will be coming soon.

If you’re planning to photograph RIAT this year, what camera are you bringing?
