This page has a few campsite layouts for 4-6 people, this could help you have a set up that makes your trip easier.

This setup works well if you’re camping with between 4-6 people or staying on a campsite where space is tight. Creating a defined space for your car makes life a lot easier, campsites get busy, and it’s not uncommon to come back from the show and find that someone has pitched their tent exactly where you were parked. Using windbreaks is a great way to mark out your boundary. In the photo, you can see a windbreak just to the left of the car doing exactly that

Remember to set up your tent that suits you, and keep in mind wind directions etc.

Awning

Space for a Gazebo, or seating/cooking area.

Awning

If you’re bringing a camper van, it’s quite common to park it at the rear of your pitch or off to one side. That way you can attach an awning to create a sheltered space for seating, cooking, and relaxing.
